There comes a time when daily routines become difficult chores. Still, you're as proud and independent as ever. Finding the right balance between the independence you want and the care you need presents a challenge to you or someone you care about.
You've always been independent. At Meadow Woods, we want you to stay that way. We encourage your independence by providing choices. Select your floor plan, bring your own furnishings, choose a selection from the menu, come and go as you please.
Keeping active and involved increases your sense of well-being. Improve your strength and flexibility at exercise class. Join a discussion group. Play cards or bingo. Participate in Bible study. Volunteer at Martin Luther Manor. Your life will take on new meaning as you share your wisdom and experience with others.
Even though you can have a full day without leaving the building, a change of scene is so refreshing. Scheduled trips to restaurants, for shopping, and special attractions are easier in our handicapped accessible van.
Meadow Woods' architectural design makes the most of the river bluff setting. Soaring windows, screened porches, and an outdoor terrace provide year-around opportunities to watch the birds and wildlife. Enjoy three meals a day in Meadow Woods' dining room. On special occasions, dine by fireside accompanied by favorite melodies played on the baby grand. Make an appointment at the beauty/barber shop. Pick up a gift, birthday card, or snack at the Health and Wellness Center. You're a unique, special person. At Meadow Woods, your care will be as individual as you are.
All that we ask is a security deposit, month-to-month rental agreement and an assessment to make sure Meadow Woods can meet your needs.
If you are looking for the perfect combination of independence, personal care, compassion, and comfort, call today. Let us show you, gently and respectfully, how much easier and more enjoyable life can be.
